Hi all,
As I am writing this, the skies have opened here in Amsterdam. I hope you are having some better weather!
These last two weeks, we have been working on adding one of the most asked-for features EVER:
The Keyboard Designer!
You can now edit the keyboard, and next week, you can save those layouts as presets.
We are also now moving to update Rando’s design to make it less convoluted:

We are still working on fine-tuning colors and other small things.
Next week I will also share finalized designs with you for feedback as well.
What we have fixed in the last two weeks
Fix incorrectly analyzed BPMs
Fix Rando 1 preset import (presets were imported as the current Rando 2 version (2.1.0) instead of 2.0.0)
Stretch cycle button—you can now warp samples as well that have no bpm (without having to use edit, set the tempo and then pressing loop)
Persist search settings expansion state between sessions
Change the way the locations and categories filter buttons work
Support resuming sample location scans and detect changes in sample location
Add context menu option to invert locked notes
Improve the colors of keyword field in search settings
Fix the loop indicator, which sometimes does not show.
Update the keyboard lock button design.
Ensure all white keys have the exact same integer width.
Fix incorrect scanning progress for large sample locations.
Fix missing similar sounds, favourite and folder button.
Use assigned key settings for similar sounds and randomize samples.
Fix similar sounds.
Update key colours.
Don't show loop indicator for disabled or out of range keys.
Only show current categories for selected or hovered note.
Update the design of the assign search settings to the key menu.
Don't show assign search settings keyboard while in search settings.
Fix lock controls did not work for normalize, pitch and stretch.
Update slice keyboard colour.
Add option to assign keys as empty.
Fix changing randomize settings was not undoable.
Replace "clear" button with reset buttons next to label.
Auto randomize new assigned keys after closing the edit menu.
Support assigning drum/tonal to keys.
Next week
Next week we will focus on tackling some of the other smaller requests and adding the preset saving part of the keyboard. After that we will start with finalising the filename analysis part and the Audio Classification workflow so it will become useful for all users.
I also am planning to send a survey to all of you asking some questions about OS, CPU, design, new features etc so hope you can help me with that!

Let me know what you guys think!
