System: I’m using Rando 2.1.0-beta-4 and the previous drop on macOS 13.7.8
With everything reset in the search criteria, I can see I have 26,154 samples. In the list of samples, I see a number tagged with categories - PIANO, SNAP, SYNTHPAD and so forth.
I assume toggling a category will show only the samples that have been tagged with that category and clicking on it a second time, the strike-through version would exclude/hide all such samples but this is what I’m seeing:
1) Click on any category filter - say, PIANO
- the category box changes from black text on grey filled box to purple filled (toggled)
Problem:
- this shows 0 results, even though a text search for “piano” shows 168 samples with large number tagged as PIANO
Expected behaviour:
- toggling PIANO should show a list of the subset of samples that I can see were tagged with PIANO
2) Click on the same category filter (say, PIANO) a second time
- the category box toggles to a second position, with a purple outline and black background, now with PIANO in strike-through text
Problem:
- the count of results is identical to the full list of available samples. This second toggle state seems to have no discernable function
Expected behaviour:
- I expected this state would show all the samples EXCEPT ones tagged as PIANO
- I expected only the tagged samples would be filtered - other samples are found by text search (ex. HIT PIANORCH3 categorized as FX IMPACT or GBPIANOCHORD_001 that did not get tagged with any category) should not appear in this filtered view - only the ones specifically tagged as PIANO should be filtered out
