Adding selected key/sample in SEQ by clicking (not defaulting ot C3)

Why is so that when I click in the sequencer to add a note it always defaults to C3? I already have a sample selected in the piano roll, so that should be the one that gets added. I think that would make a whole lot of sense. I was already missing a simple drag to copy a note in the sequencer so I wouldn’t either have to drag it form the piano or have to scroll my way to it (which is taking a lot of time and sometimes hard to go quickly navigate to the right key). This would be a majoy QOL improvement for sequencer users. this way you select the sample and click it into the empty slots.

RIght click or another modifier & click should delete and empty a sequencer cell not just mute it. In this way the sequencer functionality gets extened and easier to work with. Might need a seperate Feature Request, but the one doesn’t go without the other for me, as you can see the right click and left click combo is super easy to work with in the sequencer now.
