Key editor impression and suggestions

The Keyboard editor is a nice addition, but it lacks instructions about the order: First select keys, then the category. I started the other way around, and even while editing, I chose the wrong order, so the assigned keys were overwritten by the newly selected category.

You could disable selecting a tag when no keys are selected, but after the first assignment of a tag, this won't help anymore, since there is now a selection.

Automatic deselection after assigning a tag would solve this, but might not be useful if you want to assign category, type, and sample type to the same keys.

I don't have a good solution right now, but the current system is not foolproof.

Clicking outside the keyboard should deselect all keys. Currently, there is no way to deselect all keys.

Use dark or black circles and dots on the keys instead of white ones if the tag color is light, such as yellow or turquoise.

The tag colors are too similar to be useful.

You might take color blindness into consideration. Using special color schemes, for example.

FR: Key edit mode: Option to select only the white or only the black keys while dragging to create a selection. A modifier key could help here.
